Moo Grataem (Stir Fry Pork with Garlic)

 

Ingredients :

Pork tenderloin (sliced thin)

Fresh garlic (crushed and chopped)

Vegetable oil

Green onions (cut into1 inch pieces)

Fish sauce (nuac mam)

Black sweet soy sauce

MSG (optional)

Cilantro leaves (cut up)

Black pepper

Hot cooked rice

To prepare clear soup

Water

Chicken breast

Bamboo shoots (sliced)

Fish sauce (nuac mam)

Soy sauce

Green onion (chopped)

Endive leaf (cut up)

Black pepper

MSG (optional)

Method :
  1. Mix pork with sauces, MSG, and black pepper until pork is coated well with all ingredients

  2. In a wok, heat oil until hot over medium heat

  3. Cook garlic for a few second and add pork mixture, stirring constantly, cook for 5-6 minutes

  4. Add green onion and cook 1-2 minutes longer then remove from heat

  5. Sprinkle with coriander and serve over hot cooked rice along with a bowl of clear soup

  6. To prepare clear soup, in a large sauce pan, boil water with chicken breast for 15 minutes

  7. Simmer over low heat for 1 hour

  8. Remove chicken from bone and place back into broth

  9. Add sliced bamboo shoots, fish sauce, soy sauce, green onion, MSG, black pepper and endive leaf

  10. Cook 5 minutes longer and serve hot
