Ingredients

A few

Palmyrah root (Odial) flour

Prawns

Crabs

Fish head

Rice

Dried chillies (ground)

Long beans (cut into small pieces)

Lime sized tamarind juice

Water (well washed)

Jack fruit

Tapioca (cut into small pieces)

Jack fruit seeds (split into two)

Salt (adjust to taste)

Method

  1. Soak the flour in the water and strain (3 or  4 times)

  2. Put the 3 cups of water in a pan and bring to boil and put the rice, long beans, tapioca and jack fruit seeds and allow to cook

  3. When well boiled, add the jack fruit and allow to boil

  4. When cooked, add the prawns, crab and fish head

  5. Finally add the soaked floor, chillies, tamarind juice and salt

  6. Simmer and remove from heat before liquid becomes too thick
