Fried Hot Shrimp

 

Ingredients

500 gm

1 large

4 cloves

2 inch piece

1 tsp

1tsp

2 tsp

1/2 cup

Shrimp (small)
Pickled lime (thinly sliced)
Onions (sliced)
Green (or red) pepper (sliced)
Garlic
Ginger
Black ground mustard seed
Sugar
Chili powder
Vinegar
Salt (adjust to taste)

Method
  1. Deep fry the shrimp and drain the oil
  2. Blend the mustard, garlic and ginger with vinegar
  3. Add sugar, chili powder and enough salt
  4. Mix well to form a thick mixture
  5. Add thinly sliced pickled lime
  6. Add the fried shrimp and green (or red) pepper and mix well
  7. Serve with rice & curry
