Cabbage Mallung

Shredded cabbage

Oil

Mustard seeds

Onion (chopped)

Garlic

Dried red pepper (adjust to taste)

Shredded coconut

Turmeric

Cumin

Salt  (adjust to taste)

1. Heat oil, add mustard seeds and cover
2. When seeds pop, add the onion, garlic, red pepper and coconut and brown for about 5 minutes
3. Add spices and cook for 2 minutes more
4. Add cabbage and salt, cook for further 2 minutes
5. Remove from heat, serve with rice
