                                RECIPES OF SINGAPORE

Kale with Ginger and Chiles
 

 

Ingredients

1 lb

1

4 cloves

1/3

1 inch slice

2 tbsp

1tbsp

1tbsp

Kale or spinach
Bird chile
Garlic
Onion (chopped)
Ginger (peeled)
Water
Tamari sauce
Sesame oil

Method
  1. Wash, de-vein and chop kale or spinach into bite-size pieces and set aside
  2. Purée chile, garlic, onion, ginger and water in blender or food processor
  3. Pour blended spice mixture into wok
  4. Add tamari and sesame oil
  5. Heat until sizzling, then add kale to wok
  6. Stir fry for 3-5 minutes until kale becomes limp

Serve hot
