Crabs (halved)
Thick coconut milk
Dried red chillies (soak in water) (pounded)
Lemon grass (use the white part only) (serai) (pounded)
Fresh turmeric (kunyit basah) (pounded)
Garlic (pounded)
Ginger (pounded)
Bombay onions (or 15 shallots) (pounded)
Galangal (lengkuas) (pounded)
Cumin seeds (pounded)
Salt (adjust to taste)

Method

Heat oil in wok
-
Stir fry the pounded ingredients until fragrant

Add in the coconut milk and let it simmer gently
-
Half way, add in the crabs and cook until required thickness or dried
