Ingredients

Chicken

Garlic (chopped)

Fresh ginger root (peeled & finely chopped)

Refined rice wine

Sugar

Soy sauce

Hot pepper powder

Water

Garlic (cut into thin slices)

Green onion (cut into short lengths)

Sesame oil

Sesame seeds (crushed)

Pepper

Method
  1. Cut the chicken into 8-10 pieces after removing the bones
  2. Mix the chicken with garlic (chopped), ginger, rice wine and 3 tsp of sugar and press down into a bowl
  3. Mix soy sauce, hot pepper powder,  3 tsp of sugar , water, garlic (cut into thin slices), green onion, sesame oil, sesame seeds and pepper to form as marinade
  4. Pour marinade over the meat and mix well
  5. Allow it to sit for at least 3 hours or over night
  6. Grill over medium heat or cook on the barbecue, brushing several times with marinade, until chicken is cooked

Serve with lettuce and fresh vegetables
