Jae Yook Bokum (Spicy Pork Stir Fry)

 

Ingredients

Pork meat (thinly cut - 0.3 cm)

Onion

Carrot

Thick green onions (or 3 smaller green onions)

Oil

Seasoning:

2 tbsp

2 tbsp

2 tbsp

1 tbsp

2 tbsp

1 tbsp

1 tbsp

1 tbsp

3 tbsp

1 tbsp

Soy sauce

Red bean paste (gochujang)

Rice wine

Garlic (chopped)

Green onion (chopped)

Ginger juice (or ginger powder)

Ground black pepper

Sesame seed oil

Sugar

Ground red pepper

Method
  1. Use meat tenderizer and lightly beat the pork meat

  2. Cut onion and carrot into thin strips and cut green onion diagonally

  3. In a big bowl, mix red bean paste, ground red pepper, soy sauce, sugar, chopped green onion, chopped garlic, ginger juice, rice wine, and ground black pepper

  4. Marinate pork meat and vegetables with the seasoning mixture for about thirty minutes

  5. Coat big skillet with oil, and stir fry meat and vegetables until meat is completely cooked

  6. Serve this over rice or as a side dish
