Ja Jang Myon

 

Ingredients

300 gm

50 gm

Cooked noodles (thick)

Pork

Onion

Potatoes

Zucchini

Ja-jang sauce

Cooking oil

Corn starch

Water (or broth)

Ginger (chopped)

Black pepper

Sesame oil

Method
  1. Cook the noodles in boiling water and rinse them off with cold water
  2. Cut into approximately 0.5 cm pieces in length the onions, zucchini, potatoes and pork
  3. Simmer the ja-jang sauce in cooking oil  and stir slowly until the ja-jang is reduced to half in content
  4. Mix the corn starch with 2 tbsp of water
  5. Cover the frying pan with oil and cook the pork with ginger until the pork is completely cooked
  6. Add in the vegetables and stir-fry further
  7. Add in water ( or broth) and let it come to boil
  8. Add in the corn starch and water mixture and let come to boil
  9. Place noodles on a bowl and pour the ja-jang sauce over the noodles
