Daikon radish (thinly sliced)
Carrots (thinly sliced)
Dashi stock
Vinegar
Sugar
Sake |
Method
-
Place the radish and carrots on a large
platter, sprinkle with a little salt and leave for 20 minutes
-
Rinse the radish and carrot slices in cold water and
drain well
-
Place the vinegar, dashi
stock, sugar, and sake
in a large saucepan and bring to boil
-
Add the daikon
radish and carrot slices
to the saucepan and mix well
-
Cover and leave to cool completely before serving
