Ingredients

Ghee
Oil
Cinnamon
Cloves
Cardamoms
Onions
Tomatoes (cut into 2 1/2 cm cubes)
Potatoes (peeled and cut into 1 1/2 cm cubes)
Coriander leaves
Ginger
Garlic
Green chillies
Cumin seeds
Grated coconut
Basmati rice

Green peas
Water
Salt (adjust to taste)

Method
  1. Grind to a fine paste coriander leaves, ginger, garlic, green chillies, cumin seeds and grated coconut
  2. Heat oil and ghee in a rice cooker
  3. Fry the cinnamon,  cloves and cardamoms till aromatic
  4. Add in the onions and tomatoes and fry till soft
  5. Add in the potatoes and continue to fry for 2 minutes
  6. Follow with the ground paste and continue to fry till the oil emerges on top
  7. When the gravy thickens, add in the rice, water and salt to taste and stir well
  8. Cover and cook till the rice is done
  9. Finally add in the green peas and mix well
  10. Serve hot
